Selection Criteria

Generally speaking, a voltage stabilizer can be chosen on the basis of just a few elements. Once this info has been established, any other optional requests can be considered separately.

1. Primary voltage fluctuation range.

2. Secondary voltage.

3. Number of phases.

4. Power rating or capacity (kVA).

5. Winding Conductor Material.

6. Load type or name.

7. Load start-up mode. Direct start-up or soft start with variable frequency drive (VFD).

Note: Direct starting current of induction motor is as high as 5 to 7 times the normal full load current.
